Coronavirus: What you need to know about breakthrough COVID cases, from symptoms to severity - Times of India

Coronavirus, as we all know, is highly contagious and transmissible. With new emerging variants, it has become all the more difficult and dangerous for people to go about their work and live fearlessly. Given the chaos, COVID vaccines have become the need of the hour and our best bet against the SARs-COV-2 virus.

However, the rise in the number of COVID cases amongst fully vaccinated individuals has increased hesitancy and raised alarms in and around the world. Nevertheless, it cannot be denied that breakthrough infections, although possible, do not cause serious harm and are accompanied with mild symptoms.

While many people have fallen victim to several myths and misconceptions associated with COVID vaccines, it is important that the air around breakthrough infections is cleared and more people are willing to get their COVID shot.
