Respiratory illness season has arrived - My Stratford Now

You’re being reminded by health officials in Perth County to wash your hands, stay home when sick, and stay up to date on your vaccinations. 

Respiratory illness season is here, and they want you and your children to get through the season as safely as possible. 

It’s also recommended to wear masks to cover sneezes and coughs, when possible, clean and disinfect surfaces, and improve indoor ventilation. 

Most respiratory illnesses in children, including colds, influenza, RSV and COVID-19 can be managed at home without the need for prescription medications.
