COVID-19 outbreak at Campbellford Memorial Hospital - Quinte News

Campbellford Memorial Hospital has declared an official COVID-19 outbreak, after two cases of confirmed hospital transmission of the disease.

The declaration came on Friday afternoon.

As a result of the outbreak, visitation to the Inpatient Unit has been restricted and patients will only be permitted to have one visitor at a time. Virtual visitation is still available and encouraged by staff.

Services throughout the hospital, including in the Emergency Department, will not be affected by the outbreak.

Patients and visitors are reminded that they must wear a mask at all times within the hospital and all visitors are asked to self screen for any respiratory illness symptoms prior to visiting the hospital.

Adblock test (Why?)
