The Porcupine Health Unit expects to have the Pfizer bivalent booster shot against COVID-19 available next Friday for five-to-eleven-year-olds.
It was recently approved by Health Canada.
A bivalent vaccine targets the original COVID-19 virus and the Omicron variant.
Kids in that age group should have had their first two doses six months ago. And PHU encourages getting a flu shot at the same time.
