Seven new infections, 60 active infections | Y95.5 - CJLS

The Department of Health and Wellness is reporting seven new cases of COVID-19 and 12 recoveries.

The seven cases are in Central Zone. Four are related to travel and three are close contacts of previously reported cases.

As of today, Nova Scotia has 60 active cases of COVID-19. There are currently no hospitalizations.

On Aug. 31, Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 3,584 tests.

As of Aug. 31, 1,446,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. Of those, 690,154 Nova Scotians have received their second dose.

Since April 1, there have been 4,296 positive COVID-19 cases and 28 deaths. Cases range in age from under 10 to over 90. There are 4,208 resolved cases.
