Canadian government paper shows more than 100 reported cases of Ontario youth hospitalized for heart problems linked to Covid vaccines - The Rio Times

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – A report from the Canadian province of Ontario shows that more than 100 people, mostly young people, were hospitalized for heart inflammation after receiving one of the experimental Covid-19 mRNA injections.

According to the report from Public Health Ontario (PHO), as of Aug. 7, 106 people under the age of 25 have been hospitalized for myocarditis related to Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines.

The report lists adverse events related to “Covid-19 vaccines” in Ontario that have gone largely unnoticed. These reports are based on communications to the Ontario Public Health Case and Contract Management Solution.

Broken down by age, 31 of the total cases were reported in 12- to 17-year-olds, while 75 were in the 18- to 24-year-old age group. In other words, 80% of all reports involved young people aged 24 or younger.

Overall, 202 emergency department visits were made for cardiac problems after vaccination across all age groups, of which 146 resulted in hospitalization and three in ICU admission.

In addition, the report found more cases of myocarditis in people who received two doses of the Moderna vaccine.

“The reporting rate of myocarditis/pericarditis was higher after the second dose of mRNA vaccine than after the first, particularly among those who received Moderna vaccine as the second dose in the series (regardless of the product of the first dose),” the report states.

However, the report calls the mRNA vaccine safe for young people and “highly effective.”

“Covid-19 vaccines continue to be recommended and are highly effective in preventing symptomatic infections and severe courses of Covid-19 disease, which is also associated with the risk of myocarditis,” the report states.

The report comes when Ontario citizens are taking to the streets to protest mandatory covid vaccine passports that are set to go into effect at the end of this month.

MYOCARDITIS

Myocarditis is an inflammation of the middle layer of the heart wall. It is usually caused by a viral infection. A severe case can weaken the heart, leading to heart failure, abnormal heartbeat, and sudden death.

Symptoms include chest pain, abnormal heartbeat, and shortness of breath.

Treatment may include medication to regulate the heartbeat and improve heart function. In rare but severe cases, a device may be required to help the heart function.
