The number of people in Richmond Hospital with COVID-19 has grown by one since last week.
As of Thursday, there are seven patients in Richmond Hospital with the virus, six of whom are in the ICU, according to Vancouver Coastal Health.
This compares to six people in the hospital with COVID-19 last week.
There were 59 new cases of the virus detected in Richmond over the past week (Sept. 12 to 18), according to data from the BC Centre for Disease Control.
Provincial cases, meanwhile, continue to number in the hundreds – B.C. health officials reported 832 new infections on Thursday.
However that number is provisional due to a “delayed data refresh, and will be verified once confirmed,” according to the province.
Across the province, 330 people are in hospital, 148 of whom are in intensive care.
