The Public Health Agency of Canada has launched a Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP) for serious and permanent injuries resulting from a Health Canada authorized vaccine.
Federal Officials launched the program on Tuesday, saying it’s designed to give those injured from a vaccine “fair and timely” access to financial support.
The program is also available to dependents of Canadians who have died after being vaccinated.

Eligibility is for vaccines administered in Canada on or after December 8, 2020.
Claims can be filed within three years after the date of vaccination, date of death or date when an injury first becomes apparent.
