Moderna Inc. said it has submitted an authorization application in Switzerland for use of its Covid-19 vaccine in adolescents.
The application follows those with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Health Canada and the European Medicines Agency.
The company last month said its late-stage study of its vaccine in adolescents met its primary immunogenicity endpoint. It didn't detect cases of Covid-19 among the participants who had received two doses of the vaccine, Moderna said.
Moderna said the vaccine efficacy in the nearly 2,500 adolescents who received the vaccine was observed to be 100%.
