Fifty-six new COVID-19 cases found in B.C.; 1.1M British Columbians now fully vaccinated - CFJC Today Kamloops

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — The province says more than one-million British Columbians are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Speaking from Prince George Tuesday (June 22), where she is meeting with public health officials, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported 77.7 per cent of adults and 76.2 per cent of all British Columbians aged 12 or older have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Henry noted a total of 4.5 million doses of vaccine have been administered in B.C., including 1.1 million second doses.

Meantime, Henry reported 56 new cases of the virus in the province Tuesday, including 15 within Interior Health.
