COVID-19 caseload in Waterloo Region continues to increase - TheRecord.com

WATERLOO REGION— Region of Waterloo Public Health reports 65 new cases between Friday and Saturday, bringing the total case count since the pandemic began to 16,535.

The 65 new cases reported Saturday include 11 variants of concern. The total case count for variants now stands at 3,422.

There are 426 active cases, up by 21. There were 33 COVID patients in hospital,Saturday, up by one from Friday.

There are four active outbreaks in the region.
