Five people have died from COVID-19 in the Interior Health region, including a person in their 40s.
A total of 20 deaths were reported across the province over the three-day weekend period. Fifteen of those who died were over the age of 70, two were in their 40s and two were in their 50s.

Health officials have found 1,759 new cases in the province over the past three days, bringing the province's total cases to 136,100 cases.
Of those cases, 6,140 are active, with 415 in hospital and 150 requiring critical care in ICUs.
By health region, there were 325 cases in Vancouver Coastal Health, 1,201 in Fraser Health, 50 in Vancouver Island Health, 131 in Interior Health and 52 in Northern Health.
To date, 128,139 people have recovered, while 1,622 have died.
There have been 2,159,103 doses of vaccine given in B.C. as of Monday, with 106,058 of those being second doses.
Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said B.C. is not yet at the point where restrictions can be eased.
